Custom Background Images

Many themes will allow you to use your own custom background image.

Note: Refer to the theme documentation under Series Setup or check with your theme designer to confirm that your theme supports a custom background image.

How to Use Your Own Background Image

1. Create a background image if you don’t already have one. Backgrounds smaller than the screen will be tiled. Be sure that your background image fits the style of your theme. For example, a light background is suitable for themes with dark text and elements.
2. Upload the background image to a location with a publicly accessible URL, such as http://example.com/images/bg.jpg.
3. Go to “Series Setup”, select the series for which you’d like to use the custom background image, then click “Design”.
4. Enter the URL of the shortcut icon in the field labeled “Background Image”.
5. Click Save & Close.

If your theme supports custom background images, you should start seeing a new background image across your site after you refresh the page.
