Custom Default Images

Many themes will allow you to use your own custom default images, instead of Festology’s default images, when you forget to add an image or simply don’t have one.

Note: Refer to the theme documentation under Series Setup or check with your theme designer to confirm that your theme supports custom default images.

How to Use Your Own Default Images

1. Prepare two images that match the “Large” and “Medium” dimensions of your theme. (You can see these dimensions and other theme information for your event series when you go to “Series Setup”.)
2. Upload those images to a location with a publicly accessible URL, such as http://example.com/images/default_large.jpg and http://example.com/images/default_medium.jpg.
3. Go to “Series Setup”, select the series for which you’d like new default images, then click “Design”.
4. Enter the URLs in the fields labeled Default Image (“Large” Size) and Default Image (“Medium” Size).
5. Click Save & Close.

If your theme supports custom default images, you should start seeing them on events and items without images. If your images don’t appear right, confirm that they are of the correct dimensions.
