Add images, mp3s and video
You can add images, mp3 and videos to events, films, bands, participants, venues and more.
But if you want to add images, mp3s or video, you’ll need to upload them somewhere first…
For Images
For images, you’ll need to have access (such as ftp access) to a location that can serve images over the web. Basically, you’ll need to be able to make a link that starts with http:// and you should be able to open it by entering that link into a browser.
If you’re using Festology with an external subdomain (example: http://schedule.example.com), you can upload images to your own server (example: http://www.example.com) and link to an image you place on your own server (example: http://www.example.com/images/example.jpg).
If you don’t have your own domain or if you’re redirecting your domain to festology.com, you’ll have to find another server to upload your images (such as imgur.com) or you can search online for “image hosting” or “cloud storage”.
For MP3s
If your theme includes an mp3 player, you’ll be allowed to link directly to mp3s that you’ve uploaded to your own server. If this is allowed, your theme will have instructions. This usually involves pasting a link to an MP3 file (example: http://www.example.com/audio/example.mp3) in one or more of the “Additional Links” slots.

For Video
Videos can be embedded in the “Embed Box” section of events, films, bands, etc.
You’ll want to upload your files to a service like YouTube or Vimeo, then embed the videos using Festology’s magic embed feature.
If your theme includes a video player, you’ll be allowed to link directly to video that you’ve uploaded to your own server. If this is allowed, your theme will have instructions. This usually involves pasting a link to an FLV file (example: http://www.example.com/video/example.flv) in one or more of the “Additional Links” slots.
